The KDKS took part in the consultation process for the Federal Office of Culture's Message on Culture 2025 - 28. It supports the key elements of the cultural message and welcomes the message's recognition of the economic impact of the cultural and creative industries. In its consultation, the KDKS emphasised the following points, among others: 
It criticises the presentation of the high number of art school graduates in connection with precarious employment relationships.
It welcomes the Confederation's commitment to fair working conditions and improving the income situation of cultural professionals.
It emphasises the need to create funding instruments for the further training of artists.
It supports process-orientated cultural promotion, but warns against a reduction in cultural offerings due to the small increase in funding for cultural promotion.
It supports the consolidation of the Swiss Archive for the Performing Arts SAPA as part of the digital transformation.
The KDKS regrets that it is not involved in the institutional dialogue with the Confederation.
